Change a user password

Administrators can change user passwords from the Admin Console. Users can change their own passwords from their IM consoles. Agents can change their passwords from the Agent Console.

To change a user's password:

1. Click the Users/Groups tab.

2. In the User Summary screen, click the name of the user.

3. In the sidebar pane under User Options, click Password. The Change Password screen displays.

4. In the New Password field, type a new password.

5. In the Confirm New Password field, retype the password.

6. Click the Update Password button. The screen refreshes to confirm the updated password.
