Set a schedule for a workgroup

You can set the days and hours a workgroup will accept chat requests into its queues. The workgroup will open and close according to the schedule set. Any participants already in the queue will not be kicked out when the schedule closes the workgroup, however.

To set a schedule for a workgroup:

  1. Click the Live Assistant tab.

  2. In the Workgroup Summary screen, click the name of the workgroup.

  3. In the sidebar pane under Workgroup Settings, click Schedule.

  4. In the Workgroup Schedule screen, select The workgroup should open and close according to the following schedule.

  5. In the Day of Week fields, select the days the workgroup will be open.

  6. In the Hour of Day fields, select an opening time and a closing time from the drop-down lists. The opening and closing times will apply to all selected days.

  7. Click the Save Settings button.
